We work closely with communities facing real pressure—villages across the Mekong, families navigating difficult circumstances, and children at risk. Our work is built on long-term presence and practical support that helps keep girls safe and supported.
On the ground, our work is practical and responsive. This includes education, life skills, leadership development, family support, and meeting immediate needs where required. Each program is designed to address the underlying factors that increase vulnerability to exploitation and abuse.
Our work is structured around four core areas: Basic Needs, Family & Community, Education, and Leadership. Together, these areas strengthen protection systems and support long-term change at the community level.
Long-term presence builds trust. Communities, local leaders, and families know they can rely on us, which strengthens collaboration and improves the effectiveness of our programs. It also allows us to adapt to challenges, refine our approach, and ensure outcomes are sustained over time.
At OTV, long-term commitment is essential to our work. It is how experience translates into practical, lasting impact for girls, families, and communities.
