WE ALL SHARE THE SAME HOPES AND DREAMS
HOW IT ALL BEGAN
When I traveled to Thailand almost three decades ago to see World Vision’s work in slums and villages, I never imagined I would eventually start my own organisation. At that point I was already working in a ministry position. But the need I saw shook me. Seeing poverty and exploitation of girls stirred something deep within me. I began collaborating with organisations like World Vision, Tear Australia, and various others across Australia, Thailand, Burma, and Cambodia. I couldn’t just stand by and watch suffering. I had to help.
So, I’ve been on the move non-stop since then. Bouncing around in trucks from big cities to remote villages. Delivering much-needed aid deep in the jungles of Burma. Crossing rivers in canoes, and working on countless projects and partnerships. There’s always corruption, criminal groups, and more work to do. But in the face of all this, my faith in our mission has never waivered. I know my purpose is to help and I will work the best I can to fulfil this. For me, that means following in Jesus’ footsteps and showing love to those who need it most. This is what keeps me going when I am unsure.
It’s been quite a journey since we started. Our primary focus remains on serving the impoverished and tackling challenges such as poverty and suffering. It’s definitely not easy, but we’re not giving up.

WHY THE MEKONG?
The Mekong region is a place of great complexity and is often misunderstood. Millions are impacted by extreme poverty and inequality, while civil war and political unrest bring widespread suffering and destroy communities.
Our Vision
Imagine a world where children are not just safe, but thriving. That’s our vision!

DECADES OF WORK
We’ve done some pretty extraordinary things over the years. Like making hundreds of prosthetic limbs for landmine survivors, setting up irrigation systems on farms, building homes and toilets, creating water purification projects, establishing businesses, and running countless education programs in villages and schools.
